Information Security Fundamentals introduces the guiding principles of corporate security and information management. Students will learn about the principals of a security conscious corporate culture as well as basic corporate risk management techniques.  This course provides an introduction to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) and the Personal Health Information Act (PHIA), and discusses related legislation application and best practices.
