Develop the skills required to diagnose and repair electrical, electronic or computer-based systems. Gain hands-on experience in the operation of analog oscilloscopes, a variety of meters, variable power supplies and signal generators. Learn techniques for repairing large cct. boards to component level that would otherwise be replaced at a significant cost.

These are the materials students must bring to the first class of Instrumentation / Diagnostics:
- Safety glasses
- Simple Breadboard with assorted wires
- Scientific Calculator (recommended: Sharp EL546)
- Basic tools (plier, cutter, screwdriver)
All these items are quite affordable and are available at the bookstore in either campus.
Students can also bring their existing items, they don’t need to be brand new.
