DescriptionThe part-time Power Engineering course offerings at RRC
Polytech allow alternative pathways to certification with the Government of
Manitoba’s
Inspection
and Technical Services (ITS).You will follow the Standardization of Power Engineer
Examinations Committee (
SOPEEC)
approved curriculum and discover what is required of 5th and 4th Class Power
Engineers in preparation for writing the certification exams with the ITS.
These preparatory courses will allow you to develop the
knowledge and skills expected for completing the certification exams and during
your steam time without completing the full-time power engineering
program.
Completion of these courses will support your journey to
becoming a certified Power Engineer.
