PRAC-1174Nursing Practice

Integrate theory with nursing care in a health care setting with this preceptored clinical practice. Upon successful completion, the student will demonstrate the ability to perform entry level competencies as outlined by the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba.

Entrance Requirements

To be eligible for practicum placement, you must:

  • have successfully completed all the theory and skills courses
  • meet the requirements of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority Immunization guidelines
  • Adult Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector (ACRVS) Check and Provincial Child Abuse Registry (PCAR) Check conducted withing 6 months of attending the clinical practicum. Original documents must be submitted.
